I gave this a three star review for premise. The premise of these books is excellent. They have all the ingredients it just needs to be put together better. I read the first book and I paid for the second but if I would have known I would not have paid for the second book and I'm not going to pay for the last book. I know it's a short book but the story seems incredibly rushed. I don't know if it was edited and if it was the author needs to get their money back... there are sentences that don't make sense, wrong words in different places and some sentences are missing words. I love the idea and I love the intensity it could've been done so so so much betterProduct details

Only For Her is the second volume in what will become a four part saga. Only for Him, volume one, left me bleeding and crying and wishing for number two. Now, I've read number two and I'm not in much better shape than the first time around. Need the next book. NEED to see this happy ever after.
I love Emma and Grayson. I love their story and their emotions and all the chaos that surrounds them. I cannot wait for their HEA. They have been through so much already, in only the first two serials of the saga, that they deserve an EPIC HEA to go with their epic love story.
This really doesn't sound much like a review, more like a love fest. So, I will add (and try to without spoilers) some people may think that things are happening way to fast at first. Also, some may say that there was not enough emotion/screaming/crying/throwing things, for them to move forward. And to that I say, keep reading. Everything happens as it should and with good flow. You'll get your emotion.
And the ending. Hah, Cristin, girl you are trying to give us a heart attack or something. That ending will leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, cussing out your , and sending a certain author love-hate mail and riot threats.
Oh, and warnings. Warnings are simple, graphic language, deep emotions that may cause ugly girl tears, a smidgen of violence, and a little bit of graphic sex. And the books are NOT stand alone. They should be read in order to get the full Gray and Emma feel.
**Seriously wondering if Miss Harber has a copy of my diary lying around, or is physic. She knows exactly how to hit me in the feels. Everything about Emma and Gray rips at me, and reflects to much of my own secrets.

Only For Her is the second novella in the Only series by Cristin Harber. The first book, Only For Him , left off with a major cliffhanger. Gray left Emma walked away from Emma without so much as a goodbye, let alone an explanation. Their one and only night together should of been the beginning of a love that lasts a lifetime. What it left instead was heartbreak and a baby. It left Emma alone to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart. She had to give up her dreams of a life with Gray and her dreams of college life.
This book fast forwards to three years later. Gray is in the middle of combat. Emma is in the middle of surviving her life as a single mother to a beautiful little girl. Neither one is in a happy place in their lives. Gray is losing his solid memories of Emma, the one thing that always kept him going. Emma is harboring anger and resentment towards Gray for leaving her.
When the unspeakable happens it will change both of their lives once again. Emma believes that Gray is dead. Gray wants to find Emma as soon as he is able to because he has finally realized he needs more than her memory to survive.
When he finally finds Emma, he finds a very different girl than he left behind. He is also a very different man. He is beyond damaged physically. He suffers from the guilt of abandoning Emma, survivors guilt, PTSD, and still carries the scars of his childhood. The one thing that he is determined to do is make things right with Emma once again. He is determined to prove that she is the only person he can ever love.
It may be too late. He is in for the shock of his life. He is father.
Is he capable of being a good father? Is he capable of loving both Emma and his daughter? Will Emma ever forgive him? Can he forgive himself? Can he overcome all of the emotional scars in his life?
The second novella moved a bit fast for all of the issues that needed to be dealt with. It was still very emotional and touching. I am deeply invested in these characters and their lives. I am looking forward to the third book, Only For Us. I am hoping it will be a bit longer and resolve their lives.
This continues the story from Only for Him. It is 3 years later and both Gray and Em have had to do a lot of growing up. Gray finds himself out of the military after recovering from his wounds. He swore if he survived he would figure out how to make up for disappearing on Emma. In those 3 years Emma is working 3 jobs, going to school and raising her daughter as a single mom. Life hasn't been easy for her but her family was there to support her when Grayson broke her heart.
I think Grayson showing up out of the blue and Emma not really questioning him just immediately wanting him in her life might not be realistic. She has loved him while he was gone and secretly hoped he would come back so maybe that would be how you would react I don't know.
Loved that the author made these characters strong enough to fight for each other. It is such a sweet love story that you can't help but want them to find their way. Had to move right on to the next one to know what happens next.
